BlueSol is a software for the design of photovoltaic systems in every country in the world. It allows you to perform the entire process of designing a PV system, from the preliminary assessment of producibility to the realization of the project documentation.

Expertise Required:

No special expertise or training needed.

Audience:

PV specialists, energy and electrical engineers, system installers, energy consultants, universities and research institutes.

Input:

BlueSol is a product made with a standard Microsoft interface, very easy to use but at the same time manages every detail of the PV system. Use of wizards or direct editing for the dimensioning of the photovoltaic system and the insertion of cables and electrical components. Irradiations specified by the user, from NASA-SSE world wide data, or imported from PVGIS. Onsite photos for the shading by the horizon. Importing planimetry background from DWG or image. Electricity costs, incentive rates, consumption and self-consumption, consumption profiles.

Output:

Technical documentation of the project produced as editable Word documents obtained from customizable templates. Detailed economic analysis. User-created documents. Bill of cables and bill of electrical components. Layout of the system and Electrical scheme exporting to DWG and DXF.

Strengths:

Ability to model the system scheme in every detail, through the use of wizards or direct editing. Management of panels, cables and electrical components. Electrical scheme is automatically created. Bill of electrical components. Integrated CAD System for the realization of the system layout. Check the result in the 3D integrated. In 3D simulations of shading and assessments of irradiations. Detailed economic analysis. Project documentation also from user created templates that are completed with project data. Word processor intergrated.
